Time is a strange thing. As you get older, things that used to be so exciting end up not being so special after all, discarded almost. My childhood toys appear throughout this body of work as something that was once so precious is now forgotten and discarded. 

I have played around with loose brushstrokes and child-like sketches, reflecting on the playful marks that were once made when I was younger, now to be taken over by more realistic art style.
