My goal across my works is to encapsulate and convey my daily experiences and emotions living in the Adelaide Hills. My previous exhibition explored the contrast between my younger self and my present self. Building on this exploration, I now aspire to focus on my contemporary self, the daily rhythms of farm life, and the diverse landscapes of South Australia that I am surrounded by. In doing so, I aim to share my love for home-grown produce, living off the land, fixing things and working towards a self-sustainable way of life while also gaining a deeper understanding of my ever changing self. I intend for my works to provide me with a deeper understanding of myself, and for others to do the same. I want my audience to take a step back from the everyday bustle and be present with the painting, reflecting on their everyday lives and everything that has become the norm.

The Disconnect
Floating Goose Studios
‘The Disconnect’, a feeling ingrained in all of us, unique in its ability to both isolate and unite. The Disconnect is an exhibition of new work from artists Elise Clements, Emma Neill and Lara Kittel exploring the innate human experience of disconnect and the juxtaposing need for connection. Speaking about this communal sense of disconnect will, in a way, allow us to feel connected to one another and those who experience the exhibition.

all the beauty we cannot see

June - Sept 2023
West Side Stories - Little
Artists Elise Clements and Emma Neill explore the way beauty can often be missed in ourselves and our surroundings.
What is beauty? Is it a mere set of societal rules and expectations that we are taught to adhere to in order to be deemed enough? Or is it ultimately defined by the eye of the beholder, the product of perspective?
As you make your way around West Torrens, be sure to keep an eye out for the little pink roofed galleries - found in parks, along the river, near cafes, and even in front of Hamra Centre Library.
These Little Galleries have become a much-loved part of the West Torrens landscape, exhibiting the works of talented artists themed around fascinating Westside Stories.

PERIOD.
Floating Goose Studios
An exhibition showcasing 17 local artists, challenging often negative representations of menstruation by creating work that depicts a more positive representation and normalises experiences. By opening up conversation, we work towards challenging stigma and bringing attention to young people suffering from period poverty. The show aims to create a completely inclusive exhibition and safe space, which recognises that menstruation is not solely a women's or girls experience but to also ensure that nonbinary and transgender people are a part of this conversation.
Supported by the City of Adelaide, Taboo Period Products and The Commissioner for Young People, with guest speakers Helen Connolly and Solomon Kammer
Works are generously donated from established and emerging artists, including staff and students at ACSA. All works are postcard-sized and priced at $80, with the identity of the artist remaining a mystery until after it is purchased. 2022 included submissions from artists including Gerry Wedd, Daryl Austin, Julia Robinson, Mark Valenzuela, Roy Ananda, Ellie Noir, Chris De Rosa and Helen Fuller.

The Centenarian Portrait Project by Teenagers (TCPPBT) is an uplifting initiative matching teenage artists with centenarians. From storytelling, reminiscing, joy and laughter comes unique portraits, a gift and friendships to treasure between the generations. Breaking down ageist stereotypes, TCPPBT creates a platform for inter-generational friendships and learning. Each rendition of the program connects local teenage artists with centenarians, what follows is a life-affirming intergenerational process that culminates in an art exhibition presenting portraits of 100-year-olds by teenage artists.

Identity
Urban Cow Studio
Through Identity, four artists explore how people are moulded by their experiences, family, community and peers. The artists seek to interrogate the notion that surroundings impact and form an individual’s identity. Each artist is exploring through their medium how they feel about the influences and experiences that have shaped their own identity.
